CR Says Toyota Camry Hybrid Is the Car with Best Value

December 22nd, 2014 by

Every year, Consumer Reports releases a list of the cars with the best value, and every year, Toyota seems to dominate that list. This year is no different, as three different Toyota vehicles were included in the top ten. In fact, the Toyota Camry Hybrid came in as the car with best value overall, and the Prius Four and Highlander XLE also made the list as the best in their respective segments.

CR editor Mark Rechtin referred to the “stone-cold reliability at an affordable price” of the Camry Hybrid, which starts at about $29,000 and improves on that affordability with its excellent efficiency numbers. In fact, it gets up to 41 mpg, thanks to a CVT transmission and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine linked to an electric motor.

The Toyota Camry rounds out the excellent driving experience with some great technologies—like a power driver seat, a sunroof, and a whole array of infotainment options. With three cars on the ten best list, it’s obvious the Toyota brand is simply the best there is—and we at Toyota of Gastonia attest to that.
