New 2016 RAV4 Design Unveiled: Sophisticated Styling Meets Rugged Capability
As the eighth hybrid in Toyota’s lineup, the 2016 RAV4 has some of the best technologies on the market. Featuring more horsepower, better fuel economy, and a redesigned interior and exterior, the new RAV4 is perfect for young adventure-seekers.
According to Toyota, the 2016 RAV4 performance is impressive thanks to a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors and a Continuously Variable Transmission. The new model cranks out 194 hp while still maintaining great fuel mileage.
“There’s a new hybrid in town, and it’s called RAV4. Toyota has been the overwhelming gas-electric hybrid sales leader in the U.S. since 2000,” said Toyota Media Contact Craig Taguchi. He goes on to explain that, “Now, 15 years after the first Prius was sold in the U.S., Toyota has unveiled its eighth hybrid offering as part of the refreshed 2016 RAV4.”
The 2016 RAV4 design will be sleeker and more sophisticated than ever. Features include premium materials, a 7-inch touch screen display, Bird’s Eye View Monitor, 18-inch alloy wheels, SofTex Seats and more. Not only that, but the new model is designed to be practical as well, featuring an innovative electronic AWD system for going off-road. These are just a handful of features on the new RAV4.
