River Jam 2026 Season Is On Now!

Toyota of Gastonia is excited to be among those sponsoring the Whitewater River Jam 2026 season at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte. From May to September, you’ll find tons of cool events running from Thursday to Saturday every week.

River Jam brings over 80 live outdoor concerts to the Whitewater Center each year, featuring Americana, Roots, Soul, and R&B acts ranging from local favorites to national touring bands. Thursday nights kick off with the River Jam Run Club, where participants hit the trails before settling in for the show. On the third Thursday of each month, the Run Club makes way for the River Jam Trail Race — a 5K/10K through the Whitewater Center’s trail system. Thursday and Friday evenings also feature Big Water Sessions, where the center pumps extra water through the channel for bigger rapids and more exciting rafting. Families can take advantage of the Wildwoods Kids Center, and dogs are welcome at the Off-leash Park. The summer wraps up with a Fourth of July Weekend Festival as a bonus event.
